It’s hard to say good bye to our graduation seniors. Best wishes on your future endeavors and remember the door is always open for you at Dance Inc.

Lucy Alexander Lucy has been an important part of our Dance Inc. family for the last three years. She says she felt welcomed with open arms her sophomore year in high school. She has many memories that will last forever but one of her favorites was when the team took an party bus adventure to play laser tag, Bahama Bucks and a spontaneous trip through Krispy Kreme. Lucy would like to thank her instructors for making her the dancer she is today. She would also like to thank her supportive friends and family. Lucy is a graduate of Marquette High School and we wish her all the best as she attends Maryville University to study forensic science with a biology focus. Come back and visit us often Lucy!

Maddie Brader   We are so happy that Maddie found her way back to Dance Inc. four years ago. Maddie has been an incredible asset to our team. She says she “couldn’t have asked for a better place to learn and grow as a dancer.” Dance Inc. has introduced her to many friends and “opened doors to some amazing opportunities.” Maddie would like to thank her teachers who have challenged her. She is also grateful for the unconditional support of her parents. Maddie is a graduate of Lafayette High School and will be attending the University of Kansas next year. Good luck Maddie and remember the door is always open for you at Dance Inc.

Isabel Cooper  Every day, Isabel walks through the doors of Dance Inc. with a smile on her face because she gets to see her second family. Each teacher and student has made an impact on Isabel’s life just as she has made an impact on ours. She would like to say to every dancer, “I want to share that working hard and following your passions are what truly matter in this life. We all love to dance, so why not follow our dreams, and share with the world this expression that we all have within us.” Isabel will do just that as she plans to major in commercial dance at the Studio School in Los Angeles. We will be watching as your star rises Izzy. Be sure to come back and dance with us!

Maddie Goldberg Maddie feels that over the last 8 years she has become a member of a family and not just part of a group. She wants to remind the younger dancers “to squeeze your dance family extra tight while you can, and know that these are the people you’ll wish you could do it all over again with.” Maddie was instrumental in bringing the Special Olympics Dance Team to our studio. With her hard work and guidance, they performed in both the 2017 and 2018 recitals. Maddie is graduate of MICDS and plans to attend the University of Texas at Austin to major in biology. We wish you all the best, Maddie. Your cheery presence will be missed!

Anna Grace Powell  Anna Grace wants to remind all the younger girls: “cherish each moment you have in that studio (especially Natalie’s “8 more burpees”). I would do anything for one more season.” In Anna Grace’s 18 years at Dance Inc., she has found a freedom in dance that has allowed her to show and uncover the person she is today. The teachers, staff, and students have transformed and impacted Anna Grace’s life in more ways than she can count. She is particularly grateful to her parents and has fond memories of dancing side by side with both her sisters on the Dance Inc. stage. Anna Grace is a recent graduate of Ursuline Academy and will be attending the University of Missouri - Columbia where she will continue dancing as a Mizzou Golden Girl. Anna Grace, we are so very proud of you and we can hardly imagine the studio without your beauty and grace.

Sophie Laposha  Sophie has been dancing since she was three and has been an important part of the Dance Inc. family for the last 11 years. She has learned some important life lessons at the studio such as discipline, hard work and how to celebrate others’ accomplishments. She is grateful to have “grown up” with the irreplaceable and wonderful group of people she has danced with. She would like thank her friends and family who have come to many recitals and competitionsto watch her do what she loves. Sophie is not just impressive on the dance floor, she is also impressive in the classroom, earning a perfect score on her ACT! Next year, Sophie will attend Butler University in Indianapolis and major in Actuarial Science. Please come back and dance with us, Sophie!

Katie Kertzman Katie has been a very important member of our Dance Inc. family for 15 years! She says each class strengthened her technique and each piece of choreography improved her performance. To the girls who have been with her on this journey, she would like to say, “thank you for every memory - laughing hysterically when we should’ve been quiet in class, singing at the top of our lungs, making up dances in someone’s basement, crying together because of stress, and coming off stage feeling like we just killed it.” She is forever indebted to all her past and present teachers and is especially thankful for the support of her loving family. Katie will be attending the University of Arkansas as part of the Honors College, majoring in Biology and Psychology in pursuit ofmedical school. She is so excited to be able to continue doing what she loves as a member of the Razorback Pom Squad. Katie, we have watched you grow up over the last 15 years into a poised, talented and beautiful dancer - we will miss you so much!

Kaitlyn Lee  Kaitlyn has been at Dance Inc. for 15 years and says it’s hard to say goodbye to her second family. She remembers recitals when she was just a tiny tot dancing only with her hands, just like the teacher did sitting in the front row of the theater. Some of her favorite memories with her dance friends took place at birthday parties in someone’s home - picking groups, making up dances and performing them for each other. Kaitlyn would like to thank all her teachers who have helped her become the dancer and person she is today. And most of all she says “thank you mom and dad for making my dance career possible. Without you guys I wouldn’t have been able to do the thing I love.” Next year Kaitlyn is excited to be attending University of Texas at Austin where she will study nursing. Oh Kaitlyn, this is truly the end of an era - after nearly 20 years, it will be sad not to have a Lee sister in the house! Fly little bird, but don’t forget the nest.
