Ada Gouse began her dance training in Utica, New York, before earning her BFA in Ballet from the University of Utah. After graduating, she moved to St. Louis to dance with Saint Louis Ballet. During her summers growing up, she attended NYSSSA, PBT, and UBSI.
Ada’s teaching experience began in 2018 at her home studio in Utica, where she taught Tap, Jazz, and Ballet to dancers ages seven to thirteen. She also volunteered with the Tanner Dance Institute’s Dancers with Disabilities program, which provides dancers with physical or developmental disabilities the opportunity to creatively express themselves through dance in a safe and supportive environment.
Throughout college, Ada taught at various competitive studios throughout Utah, helping dancers improve their ballet technique and lines. Since moving to St. Louis, she has taught at several local studios and offers private ballet lessons for students who want additional one-on-one technique training.
Ada believes it is important to encourage creativity in the studio at every age so dance remains a meaningful part of each student’s life, and she is excited to teach at Dance Incorporated.
